Since 1949, Diestel Family Ranch has been a real family of farmers on a real family farm.

We’ve done everything but compromise the values we were founded on to raise the most delicious birds that money can buy. That insatiable hunger for ‘better’ inspires everything we do, from how we raise our turkeys and craft our products, to the relationships we build with our team members and customers, to advancing the art of independent farming for everyone. It’s what we call the Diestel Difference—the Farm, the Food, the Family, and the Future—and the gist is this: If there’s a right choice, we’ll make it.

FOOD WITH NO SKETCHY BACKSTORY
You won’t find any embarrassing secrets here—unless you manage to dig up Jason’s prom pictures.
We raise food we’re proud to eat and proud to share. Everything is produced according to strict animal welfare and environmental standards. From our commitment to regerative agriculture, to the fresh pine-wood shavings that line our barns, to the natural and organic cleaners we use, to the generous spaces we give our birds to roam, to pioneering innovative new processes, we make only choices we’d be proud to talk about—like deciding to become one of the first turkey producers to earn a Global Animal Partnership Step 5 rating.

We feed our birds like kings and queens so you can feast like one too. Our proprietary feed is made from wholesome plants like corn and soy and free from animal by-products, antibiotics, and chemicals.

OUR TURKEY MAKES MAMA PROUD
We’re fanatical when it comes to our birds, but our obsession doesn’t end there. We pour as much heart and soul into product quality and safety as we do into caring for them.
Everything we offer is made to make a mouth monsoon. It starts with a big, bold, beautiful bird that’s been raised like no other, but it takes more than that. We source the finest, cleanest, tastiest ingredients and use only what’s essential to make our birds sing. (In a lot of cases, that means using nothing.) We brine and season with simple, flavorful ingredients, and our smoked turkey products bask in real hardwood smoke for hours. Our products are never made from scraps or trimmings. Even our ground turkey is made from whole muscle turkey, which gives it a divine, luscious texture in addition to unbeatable taste.By the time it reaches your table—no matter what you choose—you can be sure that what you’re about to eat is a handcrafted piece of poultry art with the mouthwatering flavor and a succulent texture you want in a craving.

LAST NAME IS JUST THE START
This ranch has been in our family for more than 70 years. In that time, the Diestel family has grown a lot—and not just by blood. Each of our customers, partners, and team members has helped to make us the company we are today, and we’re going to do our damnedest to do right by them.

THE FUTURE IS FOWL
Modern agriculture has gotten a bad rap, and with how few go out of their way to do things right, we’re not surprised. From filtering and reusing our greywater to working with local farms to replace artificial fertilizers and chemicals with compost we produce right here on our farm, we’re always looking for new ways to shrink the boot that makes our environmental footprint.
Have we got an agenda? Hell yeah, we do. It’s advancing the art of independent farming for everyone. From helping to move our industry forward to sharing what we’ve learned over the past 70 years, you won’t find many farms more invested in helping the other guy succeed.
No, it’s not B.S. It’s not even T.S.*
*B is for bull, T is for turkey.
