Ingredients

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 325º F. To prepare simply remove soft oven ready boneless roast from the bag and rub the exterior of turkey with a blend of your favorite herbs and spices or with a paste made of the following ingredients:
4 Tbsp oil, (melted butter, margarine, olive oil, etc.)
4 tsp. salt, or to taste
2 tsp. paprika
With the netting on, place the boneless roast in an open roasting pan. Cover the bottom of the pan with approximately 1 cup water or broth.

Roasting

Use a 325º F oven and cook for approximately 25 minutes per pound. Roasting times may vary and we would encourage you to check the internal temperature throughout the roasting time to be careful not to over-roast.

Poor quality boneless turkey breast

This is the second year I ordered an organic boneless turkey breast. Last Thanksgiving the breast quality was excellent. This year I roasted it in the same way in the same oven to the same internal temperature. The meat was much chewier, almost tough, and the flavor was poor. The deliveries both years were as I instructed, but it’s unlikely I’ll order another one. Too bad. We’ve enjoyed Diestel turkey products for many years.

Second to None

About 10 years ago, my wife, who grew up in a family of food service, told me about Diestel. Her dad opened the very first Taco Bell in N California. Her parents later opened a restaurant in Weimar, Ca-The Jimmy Inn, named after her dad. The Inn had a theme of flight, because Jim was a retired Naval aviator. Her Godfather was the former President of der Weinerschnitzel and the real estate agent of Glen Bell(of Taco Bell)

Excellent

Roasting instructions on the bag were easy to follow and true to the roasting process.

I brined the breast with a brine infused with a lot of herbs and even some orange slices. Then I prepared the breast with butter and herbs - roasted it above a bunch of aromatics. Really delicious! Can’t make a good gravy from the drippings, so figure out what you will do about that ahead of time.
